OUR TEAM
Every one of our team have a level 3 qualification in early years. We also have an early years teacher on site every day. All of us hold a current paediatric first aid certificate.
At Kiddie Cats our aim is to provide a safe, healthy and stimulation environment for every child.
Staffing ratios
At Kiddie Cats we work above the ratio of adults to children outlined in the welfare requirements.
The normal operating ratio is one adult for every eight children between the ages of three and five, one adult per 4 children aged 2 and one adult per 3 children aged 1.
We are very fortunate to have at least one student helper to complement these ratios daily.
This helps us to:
- give time and attention to each child
- talk with the children about their interests and activities
- help the children to experience and benefit from the activities we provide, and
- allow the children to explore and be adventurous in safety
